It gave me time to organise my thoughts, get to know me better, sleep, eat, sleep, sleep and look fresh, appreciate physical conversations more and not just because I’m bored or there is no other option.
It’s been a while in this space here. Literally two weeks, two days, some hours and minutes I can’t calculate. I’m going to excuse every excuse as to why. However I’m going to tell you what’s been up, how it’s been, keeping up with self and living.
To start, living without a phone screams boredom. My phone screen got bad and had to be fixed. And was I thinking I could have ‘more’ time for myself. I was awed by boredom. smiles I resorted to reading books including school materials (that was the height!). Music was far away apart from the melodies from my mouth. Sometimes my singing makes me want to block my ears. Other times it gives me hope of ‘you dey try’smiles Dang! It was an experience.
Frankly speaking, scrapthat writing, it gave me time to organise my thoughts, get to know me better, sleep, eat, sleep, sleep and look fresh, appreciate physical conversations more and not just because I’m bored or there is no other option.
Existing again was excerpted from a movie I saw recently (Brain on Fire). It’s more like you know how to write, eat, sleep, love a person, laugh, read or what have you. It explains relearning and getting better. Owning you, your space, your choices, actions and decisions and more importantly, owning you. Again. Here’s what I’ve learnt and hoping you find them useful.
BUILD UP YOURSELF
Nowadays, It’s easy to lose track of ones’ self and want to do a thousand and one things at a time. You could scroll through hundreds of feeds about seminars, trainings, various workshops and events and could get shaken easily.
It is good to know that a lot of these things are beneficial and would definitely yield return either in the long run or short run. During my short break, I prioritised clearing my head and hearing my thoughts out loud. I was able to attend a network and social media training regarding business, personal brand and publishing. It was fun and enlightening. It is necessary to be willing to pay for value and be happy.

Give yourself the time you need to do whatever it is you want. Read great books that end up building your self-confidence and help you grow as an individual. Find whatever works for you and stick to a plan. When you learn to be your own best friend and constantly search for ways to build yourself up rather than tear yourself down, you will begin to realize that you absolutely got this and have what it takes.
STAY PURPOSE DRIVEN
Personally, apart from fulfilling the mandate of telling people about Jesus, Fulfilling purpose is of great necessity. Clearly knowing what you want and going for it doggedly is as important as identifying activities and things to be done that drives towards the direction you’re headed.
I honestly do not think that knowing ones’ purpose can be figured out at once. Like waking up and hearing a voice like “Charlie! Charlie! your purpose is to develop game apps” 🤦. I mean it could take series of stumbling and getting back up but it all sums up to knowing what you want and what you can do, doing that passionately.
So that’s what’s been up with me so far. Learning to listen to my voice as much as I would listen to other people. I’m interested in knowing what you’ve been up to too. And yeah, I like gist🙈
